Cutting Tools

Pruning is a technique that needs specific tools, and the choice of those tools depends on factors such as the type of plant, the diameter to be cut, the extent of the plantation, among others. These factors, among others, will make us decide on a particular tool; but as a common feature of all pruning implements, the importance of good sharpening. Blunt tools do not make an effective cut and are also dangerous for the person using them.

Every tool needs good maintenance and, on some occasions, effective disinfection.

We must use the appropriate tool for each situation and branch size.
