Orange Ice Cream

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 2 ½ cups of liquid cream.
  • The zest of three oranges.
  • The juice of one orange.
  • 1 tablespoon of natural vanilla essence.
  • 125 grams of icing sugar.
  • Dark chocolate.
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil.
  • Orange segments for garnish.

Preparation

Put the cream in a large bowl, add the zest of 2 oranges, the juice and the vanilla. Mix the sugar in with them and beat until flakes form. Leave in the freezer overnight.
Melt the chocolate with the rest of the orange zest in a bain-marie, add the almond oil and set it aside to cool a little. Before serving the ice cream, spoon the chocolate into a small paper piping bag. Serve the ice cream in individual glass bowls. Cut only the tip of the piping bag and drizzle with chocolate, completely covering the ice cream. Decorate with orange segments and serve.
